Now, that's a bash with a capital B. Leo's reps insist the woman who struck Leo with a beer bottle was a party crasher looking for an ex. But someone on the scene told that just before the swinger cut loose with her suds, she had a shocked look on her face and reportedly said to Leo, "Why don't you just keep your d--k in your pants!"

IT was certainly worth a shout for a Stevenage bingo fan last week, as he was awarded £300 by a TV show court for being wrongly banned from a bingo hall.

The Herald reported in February that John Mills, 57, who spends around £5,000 a year playing bingo, was banned for four weeks for shouting his catchphrase, "Wakey, wakey," so loudly he frightened some of the elderly patrons of the Mecca bingo hall in the town centre.

John says he has now seen justice served through a public phone-vote on daytime TV show The People's Court UK, which found in favour of his claim that he was unjustly barred.

Michael Schumacher has won a lot in his career: Seven Formula One championships, 83 races and 63 pole positions. But his impressive track record did not stop him from calling last Sunday's race in Imola, Italy, "one of the best races of my career."

And he did not even win.

Schumacher's joy stemmed from his comeback from 13th place in the grid to second place on the winner's podium. And though he was not fast enough to overtake race winner Fernando Alonso, the 36-year-old finally broke a spell of disappointments and sent a clear message: Do not count Ferrari out yet.

Betting markets have defeated experts, polls and the media in predicting the outcome of current events such as presidential elections.

During the past four U.S. presidential campaigns, economists at the University of Iowa have operated an Internet-based futures market system, where anybody could bet on one of the two major-party candidates.

In the 2004 election, for example, every source in the U.S. considered the race too closes to call before the election night. But the University of Iowa market gave George W. Bush a clear edge since the end of the Republican convention in September, two months ahead.
